The Pathology Partnership helpdesk is a first point of contact for clinical advice, emergency call distribution, first line IT support and medical appointments.

When the Addenbrookes Pathology Helpdesk, who act as a first line helpdesk and take calls from GPs, hospitals and clinics, were going to be managing calls for an additional 6 trusts across east of England as well as moving office, it became clear that replacement of the legacy call centre system for the 25 seat helpdesk was a top priority.

Supported by Cirrus, NHS Pathology Partnership was able to deliver a 30% reduction in human capital costs whilst maintaining SLA’s.
